We, YodaHut Web Company, a proprietorship firm having its office at 70-1, Kamarajapuram West, Karur, Tamil Nadu, India (hereinafter referred to as the "Firm", which expression shall, unless repugnant to the context, include its representatives, administrators, permitted successors and assigns), are committed to protecting your privacy and the information you share with us.
This Privacy Policy applies to the website https://www.yodahut.com/ and its mobile applications for iOS and Android (collectively referred to as the "Platform").
To provide you with uninterrupted use of our services, we may collect and, in some circumstances, disclose information about you with your permission. This notice explains our information collection and disclosure practices, and the choices you have about how your information is collected and used.
This Privacy Policy is intended to comply with all applicable data protection laws. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, including the manner in which your information is collected or used, please do not use or access the Platform. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this Privacy Policy, please contact our Customer Support Desk through the contact section on the Platform.
Capitalised words used in this policy have the meanings given to them below. All headings are used only to arrange the provisions of this policy and shall not be used by the User or the Firm to interpret those provisions in any manner.
1. Definitions
"We", "Our" and "Us" mean the Platform or the Firm, as the context requires.
"User" or "Learner" means any natural or legal person who uses the Platform to seek information, make contact or access the tutorial videos on various technologies and skills posted by professional tutors. Users must be competent to enter into binding contracts under Indian law.
"Professional User" or "Tutor" means a professional tutor who uploads videos of their tutorials on various technologies and skills to the Platform.
"Services" means the provision of a Platform where professional tutors can post tutorial videos on various technologies and skills in different languages, and Learners can access those videos free of cost.
"Platform" means the website and mobile applications that enable Users to access videos uploaded by professional tutors on various technologies and skills in different languages.
"Personal Information" means any personally identifiable information that we may collect from you, such as your name, email address and contact details, as set out in this policy.
2. Information We Collect
We are committed to respecting your online privacy and recognise your need for appropriate protection and management of any Personal Information you share with us. We may collect the following information:
Personal data, including but not limited to your name, email address and contact details.
Tracking information, including but not limited to the IP address and device ID of your device when connected to the internet. This may include the URL you came from (whether or not it is on the Platform), the URL you go to next (whether or not it is on the Platform), your browser information, and other information associated with your interaction with the Platform.
Usage details for analytics. This policy also applies to data we collect from registered members of the Platform, including but not limited to browsing behaviour and pages viewed. We also collect and store personal information you provide to us from time to time. We collect and use only the information we consider necessary to provide a seamless, efficient and safe experience customised to your needs, including:
to provide the services you have opted for;
to provide quality customer care services; and
to comply with applicable laws, rules and regulations.
We use your contact information to send you information based on your interests and prior activity. The Firm may also use contact information internally to improve its services, but shall promptly delete such information, unless we are required by law to retain it, when you withdraw your consent, either through the "unsubscribe" link or by emailing admin@yodahut.com.
Transacting over the internet carries inherent risks. You can reduce these by following good security practices yourself and by informing our customer care team of any suspicious activity or any unauthorised use of your personal information.
3. Our Use of Your Information
The information you provide is used to provide and improve the Services for all Users, including:
maintaining internal records;
providing information to you; and
enhancing the Services we provide.
For more details about the communications we send, please refer to our Terms and Conditions of Service and Use. Your personal data, such as your name, email address and any other sensitive personal data, may be collected and stored by us for internal records.
We may track information such as IP addresses and device IDs to help identify you, to gather broad demographic information, and to make further services available to you.
We will not sell, license, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only with service providers who act on our instructions to operate the Platform, such as hosting, analytics, advertising and payment providers, or where we are required to do so by law.
Information collected through our server logs, including Users' IP addresses and the pages visited, is used to manage the web system and troubleshoot problems. We also use third-party analytics, tracking, optimisation and targeting tools to understand how Users engage with the Platform, so that we can improve it and offer personalised content and advertisements according to their preferences.
4. How Information Is Collected
Before or at the time of collecting personal information, we will identify the purposes for which it is being collected. If we have not done so, you have the right to ask the Firm to explain the purpose, and you are not required to disclose any information until we have done so.

5. Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to help us understand how you use our content and how we can improve it. These cookies follow your progress through the Platform, collecting anonymous data on where you came from, which pages you visit and how long you spend on the Platform. This data is stored by Google to create reports. These cookies do not store your personal data.

6. Cookies
We use data collection devices such as "cookies" on certain pages of the Platform. Cookies are small files stored on your device that help us provide customised services. 7. Google AdSense
Google AdSense is a tool that allows website publishers to show advertisements to visitors in exchange for revenue calculated per click or per impression. To do this, Google uses cookies and tracking technology to deliver advertisements personalised to each visitor. In this regard:

You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings.
All third-party advertisements on the Platform are for information purposes only. Neither the Platform nor the Firm guarantees, or accepts liability for, the authenticity of these advertisements.
The Firm will not permit its competitors to advertise on the Platform.
You may visit the links in advertisements at your own risk, or choose not to accept the cookies that allow third parties to display their advertisements.
8. External Links on the Platform
The Platform may include advertisements and hyperlinks to other websites, content or resources. We have no control over websites or resources provided by companies or persons other than us. You acknowledge and agree that we are not responsible for the availability of such external sites or resources, and do not endorse any advertising, products, services or other materials on or available from them. You further acknowledge and agree that we are not liable for any loss or damage you may incur as a result of the availability of those external sites or resources, or of any reliance you place on the completeness, accuracy or existence of any advertising, products or other materials on or available from them.
These external websites and resource providers may have their own privacy policies governing the collection, storage, retention and disclosure of your Personal Information. We recommend that you review the privacy policy of any external website you visit.
9. Using the Platform
We provide our Services through the Platform, which enables Learners to access tutorial videos on various technologies and skills in different languages.
Professional tutors can post videos of their tutorial sessions on various technologies and skills in different languages, which are then published on the Platform.
Professional Users must register or log in to the Platform to post tutorial videos. Learners are not required to log in, but we recommend that they do so in order to track their learning history on the Platform.
You may leave feedback on the services provided by the Firm, but you must remain civil and maintain decorum at all times.
10. Your Rights
At every stage before, during or after the collection of your information, you have the right to:
access all personally identifiable information you have provided;
rectify or alter any personally identifiable information you have provided;
restrict the information we retain, at your sole discretion; and
object to the retention, use and potential disclosure of your personally identifiable information.
11. Confidentiality
You acknowledge that the Platform may contain information that we have designated as confidential, and that you shall not disclose such information without our prior written consent.
Your information is regarded as confidential. We will not sell or rent your personal information to any third party. We share it only as described in Section 3 of this policy, or where we are legally required to disclose it to the appropriate authorities.
We send emails relating to the services you use and, with your consent, promotional emails. You may unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time using the "unsubscribe" link or by emailing admin@yodahut.com.
12. Liability
Except as otherwise expressly stated in this Privacy Policy, this document only addresses the use and disclosure of information we collect from you. If you disclose your information to other parties, whether on the Platform or elsewhere on the internet, different rules may apply to their use or disclosure of that information. Third-party advertisers we work with follow their own privacy policies. Since we do not control the privacy policies of third parties, we advise you to make enquiries before disclosing your personal information to others.
For third-party payment gateways on the Platform, we have taken care to work only with approved and authorised gateways, but you are advised to exercise reasonable caution.
13. Security
We treat data as an asset that must be protected against loss and unauthorised access. We use a range of security techniques to protect such data from unauthorised access by persons inside and outside the Firm, and follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the Personal Information submitted to us and the information we access.
However effective encryption technology may be, no security system is impenetrable. The Firm cannot guarantee the security of its database, nor can it guarantee that information you provide will not be intercepted while being transmitted to the Firm over the internet.
14. Severability
Each paragraph of this Privacy Policy is separate from, independent of and severable from every other paragraph, except where expressly indicated otherwise or where the context requires. A decision or declaration that one or more paragraphs are null and void shall have no effect on the remaining paragraphs of this Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy may change from time to time. The most current version will govern our use of your information and will always be available on the Platform. We reserve the right to amend or change this policy at our sole discretion.
